The Dynamics of Change

The Dynamics of Change.  Let’s jump head first into this… No Limits.  Change can be a scary word.  Most people try to avoid it. Somehow it seems I have always run towards it.  I feel that change is inevitable.  After all, the planet Earth and nature are in a constant flux and state of change.  Change involves risk and sometimes, it’s worth taking.

When I was in corporate America as a practicing Attorney one of my biggest changes was to go into private practice.  Just the thought of not joining a secure firm with a steady paycheck to being my own boss was a very big decision.  Furthermore, I would only succeed on my ability to attract new clients, meaning I was now in charge of marketing and my ability to service already exsisting clients.  I had to accomplish that while maintaining my high level of standards and practice.

I could feel the fear trying to creep under the door and slip into my thoughts.  Frankly, I was determined and it just felt like the right thing to do. So what was I to do with this fear?  No limits - I decided to confront my fear head on.

In that moment, I immediately set down my rules, my gameplan for my Dynamics of Change.  I felt there could be no better way than to take responsibility and be the captain of my ship.  Furthermore, I decided to set course for success and I knew preparation and research mixed with my vision would be an important element to establishing a solid foundation for success.

FEAR became clearly and succinctly defined for me as False Evidence Appearing Real.  Every time I felt Fear I knew I was doing the right thing.  My fear was further defined as my subconscious resistance to my success: the little subversive voice that we all hear at times .  This was my make or break moment.  Not to mention,  my conscious decision-making was at stake.  Did I have what it takes?  Was I going to give up easily?

The answer was a simple and flat out… NO.  At that moment, my motto became No Limits.  Minutes later, I walked by a TV that was playing a Nike “Just Do It” ad. Talk about synchronicity!  I’ve always believed there are no coincidences in life.  Things happen in life for a reason.  There I was at the edge… I was creating and I was loving it!

All of Us have talents, abilities and resources.  The question is… are you going to use them?  And how are you going to apply them?  Success truly is not a destination.  It is a journey, a road that we must consciously and constantly chose to be on.

The Dynamics of Change held the keys to something new. I made the choice.  No limits opened the door. I can’t tell you how many times my motto saved me. My choice helped me to move forward inspite of the Fear and let my passion, my drive and my willingness to grow define me.

I hope this helps you on your journey to Love, Joy and ultimately your happiness in life.

Love & Miracles ~
