The Power of Self

Today's post is on the power of self-talk and how vital it is in regards to loving yourself. Whether you realize it or not, your mind is greatly shaped by the immense power of your own voice. You can become you your greatest critic and biggest hero; and it's all comes from how you speak to yourself. Your Words Have Great Power How do you talk to yourself? What do you say? Do you really think about it throughout the day when things happen or don't happen? I'll give you a great example: I was playing doubles tennis with a very famous person in Florida. We were having a great tournament, and she missed a ball. She's gorgeous, intellectual, and very accomplished, but she missed one shot. And you know what she said to herself? She said, "You jerk; you're a idiot." And I told her, "Wait, hold on. You are beautiful. You missed a shot in tennis." Do you really think about what you say to yourself every day? It's so important that you say very loving things, that you just love yourself. One of the many things Louise Hay taught me is – it's a great exercise – every morning to put one hand on your chest and put one hand on the mirror, and look right into your eyes; look into your soul. Your soul is beautiful; it's brought you to where you're at. Thrive In Your Own Accomplishments Think about the things that you've done, that you've accomplished, where you're at, where you've come from, and tell yourself. Say, "Hi," whatever you name is. "Hi, Lori. I love you." Look into your spirit and love yourself, and tell yourself how happy you are, what you've done, what you've accomplished, and where you're going. It will change your life. And think about how you talk to yourself throughout the day. Fall in love with yourself no matter what happens. Let me know how you use the power of self-talk to fall in love with yourself. I'd love to hear from you. I love you! Lori Moreno
