Discover Your Inner Strength
When you discover your inner strength, life has a tendency to become easier, more exciting and fulfilling. This can also provide you with the direction and motivation you desire when you need it the most. Life Can Be Challenging No one told you that life was going to be easy. As a matter of fact, I happen to love challenges as it allows me to evolve into the best possible version of myself. We all go through very dark times. Things happen in life. We have losses. We deal with grief. People die; people pass. We go through divorces. We've all been there. This is one of my favorite lines from the movie Forrest Gump where he states, "Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get." You can either choose to be excited by challenges or you can let it defeat you. Dealing With Challenges How you deal with challenges will help define you as a person. While it's easy to have a pity party when circumstances have you down. As you discover your inner strength, challenges to become significantly easier to deal with and will lead to reveal a hidden part of you that you didn't know existed. Somewhere down the line, you will be faced with a situation where your earlier challenge helped prepare you for a new situation. In fact, you may even smirk to yourself when that new challenge happens and you confidently say to yourself, "I've got this!" Turn challenges into a game in your mind and you can actually become excited each time life throws you a curveball. In my life, I've found that when I've dealt with loss, what I did is to decided to make those times, even though they were the most difficult times in my life, to become the best of times. Growing Through Loss The most of my growth through losses occurred when I decided to seek people who I admire, leaders in different fields who dealt with their loss, and ask them what they did. I made the decision to take courses so I can further study myself, to become more loving of myself, to become more spiritual, to love myself more, and to love other people more. I decided to lead with love. My advice is, when you're dealing with any kind of darkness or loss, find the love, find the beauty, even become grateful for the situation that's opening you up in your life, because it can be one of the most amazing times in your life. Let me know what you did to discover your inner strength. I'd love to hear from you. I love you! Lori Moreno
